The Reptile Hotel was established in 2008 as a fully functional “Pet shop” but having a keen interest in reptiles the shop quickly started to change with the addition of more reptiles arriving weekly. Soon after (7 - 8 months in fact) we had a bit of a refurbishment and made the shop into a specialist reptile centre. We lunched the refurbishment along side our first years trading on 2nd of August 2009.


Shortly after the relaunch we had a big response to the reptile to the new shop layout and settings, quickly becoming one of the biggest in the north east.


With such demand for reptiles it not all easy keeping on top of it all but as you can see by our tanks we must be the cleanest reptile shop in the north east if not the Uk !! Not only is it a job keeping on top of all the animals making sure they all get there correct vitamins and food and constantly keeping it clean we also have one of the biggest ranges of dry-goods in the north east, and thats not easy to keep on top of either as we are constantly ordering new stock to meet your demands. Receiving delivers nearly every day if something is out of stock its only a day or two away.
